Community Giving

We actively engage with local non-profits, volunteer efforts, and partnerships that uplift and support our neighbors. By contributing our skills and resources, we help strengthen the fabric of our community. This sense of community isn't just an idea—it's one of the cornerstones of our company and the foundation of our success.

Project serious

Project Serious is an annual community-driven initiative where $20,000 worth of services are donated to those in need. The project alternates each year between helping an individual or family in need and supporting a non-profit organization to better serve our community.

Individual/Family Years:

  • Focused Group: Every other year, Webfoot selects a specific category of people to support, such as teachers, nurses, or first responders—those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
  • Nomination Process: The community is invited to participate by submitting short videos nominating individuals or families within the chosen category. These videos must highlight the nominee’s story, the impact they have had, and why they are deserving of the $20,000 in services.
  • Public Voting: Once nominations are in, the Central Oregon community gets involved by voting for the nominees they believe are most deserving. This voting narrows down the pool to three finalists.

Non-Profit Years:

  • Open Call for Entries: On the "non-individual" years, non-profit organizations across the area are encouraged to nominate themselves by uploading a video that introduces their mission, the impact they have on the community, and what specific services they need.
  • Community Voting: Similar to individual/family years, the community votes to select the top three non-profit finalists, based on the videos submitted.

Final Selection:

  • Webfoot Team Involvement: After the top three finalists (whether individual/families, or non-profits) are chosen through community voting, the decision moves to the Webfoot team. Each team member casts a single vote to determine the final winner.

Project Serious is a highlight of the year and reinforces our commitment to making a meaningful impact in our community!

Project Serious 2023

Project Serious 2023 was awarded to one of Central Oregon’s most amazing non-profits. The Giving Plate is a local food pantry with a completely different view of how to tackle food insecurity. We were honored to help their vision become a reality.

Project serious 2022

Project Serious 2022 was focused on giving back to a nurse in our community.  We were thrilled to be able to give back to someone who gives so much of herself to our community.

Project serious 2021

Project Serious 2021 was a non-profit year, and went to the La Pine Senior Activity Center.  We provided a fresh coat of paint inside and out, brightening the building… and hopefully the lives of those within its walls.

Project serious 2020

Project Serious 2020 chose to honor teachers, and we awarded our home services to Stephanie Boni, a Bear Creek Elementary school teacher. Thank you for making such an amazing contribution to the children in our community!

Project serious 2019

2019 marked our 10th Annual Project Serious giveaway. Brightside Animal Center was our recipient, and we loved every minute of the 475 hours we spent helping to improve and enhance the lives of our furry community members.
